lingoLee -- About Lee Cornfield
I feel fortunate that I was raised in the US from early childhood through elementary school, as this period enabled me to acquire native language bilingual skills in English and in Hebrew.
Later, as an adult, I went back to live in the US, during which time I became reacquainted with the cultural and linguistic nuances of daily life. Also, my familiarity with academic frameworks in North America is grounded in this period: I began as a graduate student and went on to work as a language instructor and lecturer.
I have a B.A. in the Humanities from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an M.A. in the Humanities from Boston University, where I taught foreign languages. Later I went on to teach ESL at Harvard Extension School and then worked as a lecturer in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Brandeis University.
Nowadays, I take pleasure in applying my English and Hebrew language skills in my work. I have been providing writing, editing and translation services in a variety of fields and formats since 1996.
Your decision to place the product of your efforts and creativity in my hands for the purpose of writing, editing or translating is appreciated. My goal is to help you make sure that the written words express your ideas precisely and faithfully.
